The governorship candidate for the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in the last gubernatorial polls in Cross River, Edward Ugbe Aniabi, has extended his hand of fellowship to governor Ayade on his successful reelection for second term during the March 9 elections in the state.
Aniabi, who in a Goodwill message dated, March 17, 2019, congratulated super performing number one citizen of Cross River, Ayade on his overwhelming victory at the polls, posited that the governor’s victory and reelection was a reflection of the will of the people and commiserate with his performances so far.
“I extend my hands of fellowship to you my brother, Senator Prof. Ben Ayade, for winning so convincingly and overwhelming in the last polls,to continue with the good work you already started, so you can complete all ongoing projects for the benefit of the state.
On my part, I am available to support the government in whatsoever capacity and area it may require by services, including offering useful advices and suggestions when needed. The governor need the support of all in the state as the time for contest is over, it is now time to collectively work together to build a better future for ourselves and the future generations,” the ADP governorship candidate in the last election asserted.
Aniabi, therefore charged the governor never to allow himself to be distracted by the enemies of the state and the people who would have rather preferred the State and it’s people to maintain the hitherto backward position it was noted and as a civil service oriented State.
While encouraging the governor to continue to run an open door and accommodating government and policy which he is noted for, he called on all who are still breathing fire and brimstones to quench their flames and joint hands with the governor to build a better Cross River State.
